MP is a 30 years old multinational Spanish firm which designs, manufactures, sells, installs and maintains lifts and escalators. MP distribute its products through maintenance and installation companies in the SME sector across 80 different countries.
R&D department of MP Lifts was looking to reduce costs in manufacturing and commissioning by changing from standard cabinet wiring technology to wire harness engineering so they can be able to reduce production time significantly. They were looking for a harness design tool that helped them to overpass this challenge.
