EPLAN Software & Services is pleased to announce that Panduit is part of the EPLAN Data Portal.
Schaumburg, IL – November 10, 2015 – EPLAN Software & Services is pleased to announce that Panduit is part of the EPLAN Data Portal. Panduit has been a leader in innovation since it’s opening in 1955 when they launched their first product, Panduct® Wiring Duct. This was a new invention that uniquely organized control panel wiring and allowed new wires to be added quickly and neatly. Since that time Panduit has introduced thousands of problem-solving new products and has remained committed to providing innovative electrical and network infrastructure solutions that help organize, connect, and protect wire and cable. In keeping with the innovation of critical business challenges their customers face, Panduit has partnered with EPLAN to provide their customers with valuable data on their products via the EPLAN Data Portal. The EPLAN Data Portal is a cloud based data platform, accessible through the web and directly within the EPLAN Platform, which provides real time access to valuable up-to-date device data to customers. The intelligent product data from the EPLAN Data Portal can be dragged and dropped directly into EPLAN programs, reducing configuration effort and greatly increasing the quality of machine and system documentation. Panduit currently provides EPLAN Data via the EPLAN Data Portal across several of their product lines, such as their Type F, G, and PanelMax DIN Rail Wiring Ducts, Cat 5 and 6 cables, grounding solutions, routing accessories and ring terminals. This allows Panduit customers access to the efficiency and productivity gains that the EPLAN Data Portal provides.
